  • In line with other CE schools within the Salisbury DIocese, Hampreston requested an amendment to the wording of our Admissions Policy for 2021/22 to clarify the position regarding regular church attendance for faith applications.

The change made it clear that monthly church attendance during the COVID-19 lockdown had not been possible.  The previous wording required faith applicants to have attended church regularly for a minimum period of 12 months prior to application.  The change has clarified that this requirement does not apply to periods when the church was unavailable for public worship. The amendment to the 2021/22 policy was approved by the Office of the Schools Adjudicator.  This amendment has also been included in the subsequent admissions policies.
